Server SDK
A server SDK is a library for trusted backend code that performs privileged service operations using credentials unavailable to distributed clients.
Also found under: Backend SDK, PubbServer, Pubb.Server
How it works
Server libraries can simplify authenticated HTTP requests and signature generation, but they do not know your application's permission rules automatically. Validate the user's business action before invoking the service. Store credentials in backend configuration and avoid returning them in API responses.
In a Pubb integration
Pubb server SDKs publish events and authorize restricted channel subscriptions. JavaScript's @pubb/sdk/server is an import from @pubb/sdk; .NET integrations use Pubb.Server. Installation details belong to each SDK guide.
Choose an SDKA practical example
A .NET route verifies that the user belongs to a room, saves the message, and uses its server SDK to publish the resulting event to that room's channel.
