A few things to know.

What does unlimited messages mean?

Paid plans have no monthly message quota and no message overage fees. Each plan has the connection, operation-rate and bandwidth limits shown above. Those limits apply continuously; there is no hidden monthly fair-use threshold.

What counts as a message?

Each accepted channel publication counts once, plus one delivery attempt for every subscribed connection selected when the event is accepted. Publishing to 100 subscribers counts as 101 message operations. Disconnected or slow clients may miss an event; a delivery attempt is not a delivery receipt. Ping/pong and internal control events do not consume the monthly message quota.

How do the capacity limits work?

Connections are counted across all applications in your workspace. Operation rate counts publications and their delivery attempts. Bandwidth counts serialized application-event bytes sent to those recipients. A short burst allows a full-size event to reach every connection; sustained traffic is limited by the rates shown above. Each connection can subscribe to 100 channels and send 20 control commands per second.

What happens at a limit?

A publication that would exceed your rate or Free monthly quota is rejected before it is accepted. Rate-limit responses include a retry delay. New connections and application creation are rejected when their limits are reached. Existing connections are not dropped simply because you reached a connection limit. An event whose recipient count exceeds the plan’s entire burst allowance must be split into smaller audiences. There are no automatic usage charges.

When does Free usage reset?

On the first day of each calendar month at 00:00 UTC. Paid plans have no monthly message quota. Billing renews monthly on your subscription anniversary.

Can I change or cancel my plan?

The workspace owner can manage the subscription, payment details and invoices through the billing portal. Your checkout or portal shows the price and any proration before confirmation. Canceling keeps paid access through the paid period; afterward Free limits apply. Existing applications are retained, but creating more requires room in your plan.
