Performance & limits

Message quota

A message quota limits the number of counted messaging operations within a defined accounting period. Its meaning depends on what the service counts and when that period resets.

How it works

A publication, a delivery and a business action are different units. Compare quotas only after understanding their counting rules. Removing a monthly quota does not remove connection, rate, payload or bandwidth constraints, and high fan-out may matter even when publication volume looks small.

In a Pubb integration

Pubb's pricing page defines the current Free allowance and paid capacity plans. Paid plans without a monthly message quota still have finite connection, operation-rate and event-bandwidth limits.

A practical example

An application with modest monthly traffic can still exceed a per-second limit during a launch. Estimate both its total activity and the largest likely burst.
