Pubb
A focused realtime layer
For teams building notifications, live dashboards and shared activity with channel events, presence and fixed monthly capacity plans.
Live events. Two ways to plan capacity.
Pubb and Pusher Channels bring live updates to connected apps. Compare how their plans count traffic, how channels control access, and what happens when a subscriber joins after an event.

Notifications, live dashboards, shared activity and presence. Publish an event over HTTP; pubb sends it to connected WebSocket subscribers.

No monthly message quota.
No usage overage fees.
Capacity is shared across your workspace. Publications and delivery attempts count toward the operation rate. Limits still apply.

| Presence | Presence channels Authenticated membership and membership events. | Presence channels |
| Message history & catch-up | Keep history in your database Events reach connected subscribers. Reconnect, resubscribe and refresh state from your backend. | Last-event cache channels Cache TTL is up to 30 minutes; this is not a general message history store. |

Pusher refers to Pusher Channels. Its daily allowance and Pubb’s free monthly quota use different reset windows. Prices exclude applicable tax.
One event can create many billable messages or capacity operations. Model your subscriber count, connection peaks and event rate before choosing a plan.
This is a capacity example, not a price estimate or delivery guarantee. Disconnected or slow clients can miss events.
Pusher counts API publications and subscriber deliveries against its daily allowance. Pubb paid plans have no monthly message quota; operation rate and bandwidth still limit how much traffic can flow at once. Size either plan for your audience and peak activity.
A useful comparison includes the reasons to choose each option.

Channel messaging with fixed tiers
For teams that prefer Pusher’s client and server libraries, private and presence channels, and daily message allowances.
Moving an existing app to Pubb? Adapt your publishing, subscription and authorization flows to the Pubb API. Similar channel concepts do not imply drop-in protocol compatibility.
Pubb supports channel events, private subscriptions and presence for notifications, dashboards and shared activity. Compare the SDKs, traffic limits and cache behavior your app needs before choosing.
Pusher counts publications plus subscriber deliveries toward a daily allowance. Pubb paid plans have no monthly message quota, but publications and delivery attempts consume operation and bandwidth capacity. Peak event rate matters as well as audience size.
Yes. Both support presence channels for membership information and events. Their SDK interfaces and authorization flows differ, so adapt and test membership handling during a migration.
Pubb does not provide a last-event cache or a message history API. Fetch durable state from your application after reconnecting. Pusher cache channels can return the most recent event to a new subscriber, with a TTL of up to 30 minutes; they do not provide a full event history.
Do not assume drop-in compatibility. Use a Pubb SDK or the documented HTTP and WebSocket APIs, and adapt publishing, subscriptions and channel authorization. Verify reconnect behavior before moving production traffic.
